Trust

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

Yesterday we had so much fun hanging out in the pool. I love this time of year when it's not too hot, yet hot enough for relaxing and enjoying family time together. One of the favorite things the kids love is being thrown into the pool, their trust in their Dad being unwavering and the sheer delight in the results clearly evident!! The giggles surrounded us and well, it was just awesome to be part of!

As always, it reminded me of more than just fun in the pool. I couldn't help but think about how we struggle at times to take that leap of faith. Even though we trust in God and know He is there, we find the challenge of leaping into the unknown to be filled with fear. Yet, "we walk by faith, not by sight" and if we are willing to, that leap into the unknown will invariably lead to amazing new places.

So today I challenge you to think about taking that leap into the unknown and I DARE you to let go and jump. Yes, whatever it is you've been wanting to do but have been scared to take the next step with, now is your time to go for it!!

As for me, looking forward to more fun in the pool .... and two wore out kids!!
