The illusive shark teeth

So I have a new obsession ..... hunting for shark teeth!! Yeah, I know, it's probably something lots of folks who live close to the beach enjoy doing, although those of you that don't, fear not - we find them on the shore and not in the shark's mouth!! My collection so far is pretty small and I definitely have to improve my skills if I hope to add to the collection.

If you've read my book, (and if not, why not?!!!!! ;p ), you'll recall me talking about shark teeth before so don't worry, I'm not going to repeat myself. Yet, I guess the connections to faith and God are so strong for me when I'm out there by the ocean, the topic deserves another visit!!

Day to day life can be fun, filled with laughter, or stressful, and frought with worry and anxiety. Some days take sheer grit and determination to make it through and it is during those times that we may forget to reach out for the thing that is bigger than all of us - the Big Guy. I guess it's during those times that seeking Him out feels like trying to find the illusive shark teeth because it can feel so intangible, and yet once we become experts at making it a daily habit, the reality is that finding God in our lives becomes simple.

So today I DARE you to persevere through your day and seek out the God-signs that He lays out for you. They're there - those God-winks. They're tricky and don't always jump out with alarm bells saying 'look at me!', but I promise they're there!!

As for me, hoping to improve my connection to God while I hunt for those teeth ... and am sure my connection to Him will be a lot easier to find!
