Sweet dreams!


So how cute is she?!!! Come on, you can't help but go 'awwwww' at the sweet face of my puppy sleeping!! I love watching her, the calm beauty that overcomes her as she lays there, catching up on growing time!


Sleep. It's a wonderful gift we're given, a time for the body to re-charge and regenerate in ways we can't even understand. So why is it that we don't always value ourselves enough to give our bodies what they need and, more importantly, what they deserve?! I guess in some ways it comes back to self-love and self-care. When we don't value ourselves, and dare I say it, 'love' ourselves, we forget to give ourselves the basic necessities that we need. Food, relaxation, and sleep are usually the first things to go awry, followed quickly by our body and mind.


And so today I DARE you to pick a day that you're going to unwind and pamper yourself. End your day a little earlier than usual and enjoy some quiet time with music and a candle, or whatever way you find is relaxing. Then climb into bed, earlier than usual if you can, and allow yourself to catch up on sleep for one night. Your body will truly thank you and your mind will wake refreshed and ready for the new day. Go on, value yourself enough to do this for one night and who knows, maybe it'll become a habit worth keeping!
