Saying Good-Bye, or rather see you later!

The past few days have been hard. You see, on Thursday evening we had to say good-bye to one of our beloved dogs. Even though she was 16 1/2 years old, it was still unexpected and doesn't make the loss any easier. She was part of the family and her presence is greatly missed! :(

There are not many things in this life that are guaranteed but sadly, one that is for sure is death. I like to believe, however, that it is not good-bye but rather a 'see you later' and that we all get to meet up again when we join the Big Guy Himself.

Life is precious. We never know how long we have and so today I encourage you to hug a little closer those who matter most - be it human or the 4-legged family members. And I DARE you to reach out to those a little further away and remind them what they mean to you for it's always a good time to let them know that!!

Morgan, you will be greatly missed but we know you are enjoying some frisbie time up there and we'll see you later!
