Pieces of the puzzle

Today I had the fun of trying to solve a puzzle, but a 3-D puzzle of an apple. Initially, I thought I'd never solve it and was ready to give in. Yet, there was that part of me that was determined that I would figure it out and so kept working at it piece by piece, taking it apart and trying different ways of putting it together. It took some time but I was successful and that apple was back together again ... and I had a big smile on my face that I had accomplished my goal of figuring it out.

Sometimes in life we wonder what the plan is. We are presented with pieces of a puzzle and yet aren't able to figure out how all of them go together. We ask what must the Big Guy be thinking, or why is something happening to us, and it feels like the pieces are never going to resolve into a complete picture.

The truth is that, no matter what, life is filled with puzzle pieces and our role is to trust that God is going to reveal the picture and guide us to completing the journey we're supposed to. Oh if it were easy to believe that in the moment though!

So today I DARE you dig out a puzzle and begin building it and as you do, remind yourself that as you see the pieces fitting together, so too will the pieces of your life come together perfectly in the time they're supposed to!

As for me, I'm heading back to try and increase the speed at which I can put the apple back together!!
