Ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven. Isaiah 7:11

I'm a huge believer at recognizing successes but am not so great at recognizing my own! So, I try hard to write some down when I really notice them so I can look back and see them build when I'm having a tough day. There's nothing more powerful than your own evidence after all and as I've shared before, collecting written notes in a vase or notebook is a great way to see those successes build.
Yesterday I was going through some of my successes I'd written and I came across one that just jumped out at me. You see, I realized it was only 3 months ago that I actually began this whole journey of The Daily Dare. Yup, February 28th of 2020 was when I decided to write a book and God truly stepped in and guided me down a path that has been fast and furious to keep up with. Today, reading that little note, well it made me realize the importance of having faith in our dreams because when we do, amazing things can happen!!
There are many examples of faith and God's hand at work in the Bible, so many that it almost feels impossible to choose just one. Yet, once again, God spoke out and chose a verse that was meant to go with this blog for the numbers are my anniversary - 7:11, Isaiah 7:11 that is. We're told "Ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven". Yes, He wants us to have dreams and pursue them, He wants us to ask for signs that we're on the right path, and while we may not get the answers as quickly as we want, they will always be there.
So today I DARE you to write down a dream or goal you have and then hand it over to the Big Guy. Place it in a box, or a drawer, and then sit back and wait. The signs will come and you will realize that God is winking at you - just as He did with me!!
Life is not always easy and if you'd have asked me in December if I'd have begun writing a book in 2020, let alone publish one, I'd have laughed. AND, the reality is that once I spoke my dream, or in this case wrote it down, incredible things began to happen. Life is good - keep daring to live it!!
