Follow your heart

As the famous quote goes, a journey begins with a single step. Sounds simple, right? Kind of like today's saying, 'wherever you go, you have to just start' ... again, easy, right? The reality is, however, that the first step is the hardest but the most valuable one you can take. But then again, is that all it takes?

For me, making the decision to take action on something was definitely the initial challenge. Be it a new job, following a new direction in life, asking for help, or other similar things, the first step was vital and took tremendous courage. But it didn't stop there! You see, once you are on the path you have chosen to take, you have to be committed to it and that's why I added "then follow the path with all your heart'. You can take a step, you can make that decision, AND you have to keep moving and be willing to do whatever it takes to reach your goal. Getting started is awesome, action is what keeps the momentum going.

So today I DARE you to take action. Yes, take that vital first step and then keep going!! I know, that's easier said than done but if you're passionate about that dream you're chasing, you can and will chase after it because you'll know that it's what you truly want.

No-one said this journey called life would be easy AND that's what makes it worth living!!
