Fetch!

It's fun to watch the puppy growing each and every day. They grow and change so quickly and I love watching the world through their eyes as they explore the world around them. Tonight's activity was 'fetch'. Sweet Piper was eager to play and it was amazing to watch as she quickly learned that if she brought the ball back to me, I'd throw it again. It took practice, and before long she was eagerly playing and had mastered the idea.

As adults, we tend to be harsh on ourselves when it comes to learning. We set high expectations and push ourselves to learn something by yesterday! We are not patient with the process and negate any progress we make because of feeling our progress isn't 'good enough'. What's up with that?!!!

So today I DARE you to learn something new. Pick up a new hobby, or perhaps return to one that you've not done in a while, and allow yourself the gift of time to learn the necessary skills. Pass no judgement on yourself through the process and know that you WILL master what's needed in exactly the right timing.

Go on, you've got this and you'll even have fun along the way as you develop new and wonderful skills.
