Courage is where it starts ...

We know all the quote 'the journey begins with a single step' and it is so true. Yet, sometimes it's the last thing we want to hear! You see, we know that if we start walking we'll end up somewhere amazing but that negates the fact that it's the journey that invariably proves most challenging.

The reality is that courage is where it starts, and faith is what carries us through. We have to believe in what we're traveling toward and rely on the Big Guy to guide us in the direction we are aiming for. He is there, He supports and encourages through the people that are placed in our lives, and He shows up at those times we're ready to give up by placing small and subtle signs in our path.

Without faith, where would be? I guess that's the bigger question when starting a new journey. And that's where I DARE you to go today. I DARE you to question your faith and what it means to you. And then look at what you need to fill in the gaps ... be it adding more spiritual pieces, attending church, the gift of friends, or maybe just quiet meditation time at home.

Journeys can be fun, but in life they invariably end up being filled with twists and turns we aren't expecting and don't want! So, I encourage you to truly dig deep and lean on the Big Guy when it gets extra tough and know that you have all you need within you always.
