Brr .... it's cold, but the sun still shines!

Living in Florida we are spoiled and don't get to experience cold in the same way as some of our Northern neighbors. However, when it gets down close to freezing, my Florida blood does not like it and I long for the warm sun to return. Here's the thing, no matter how dreary or how cold it gets, I know the sun WILL return - I have that belief and knowledge that it will.

Going through tough times, it can be hard to remember the sun will shine again. We doubt that it's beautiful rays will ever shine again and get lost in the dirge of winter blues. It can be hard to keep a hold of our faith and we lose sight of God's love for us. Yet, He IS there and no matter what, loves us unconditionally - even when we think He's forgotten us.

So today I DARE you to remember that, even on your darkest of days, God is still out there cheering you on - so reach out to Him and let Him know what you need. He's listening, waiting, and always there for you - I promise!! And the coolest part, even when we doubt ourselves, He believes in all that we can be and will hold us until we can believe it for ourselves!
