Better together

This past week we became parents to these 2 beautiful girls. They are so sweet and we're in love!! It has been an adjustment for us all, but especially for the dogs because they're adjusting to a new environment and family, away from the only place they've known. They are doing fantastically and it's clearly helped that they have each other. Even though they have their own crates, they often end up together and Tinsel, the older of the two, is very protective of Piper - almost mothering her.

Can you think of a time where you were beginning something new? What were the emotions you felt? I know for me, any time I'm trying something different there is fear, apprehension, and well, just a nervousness about it all. These new things aren't easy for sure!! But here's the coolest part of all. Just as my dogs are handling everything because they have each other, we too are never alone. If you have faith, you know that the Big Guy is always with you. And regardless of whether you have faith or not, if you allow people into your life you never have to face things alone.

Think about that. Having the love and support of a friend or loved one can make such a big difference in our ability to face whatever life throws at us. We are better together for sure! So today I DARE you to take a look at who is on your team; who are those people that you can count on when facing something new or scary? Make a list and keep it in your wallet so that you always have it close to hand to remind you of who to reach out to!

Life is an adventure but the biggest gift of all is that of friendship and family. TOGETHER, we can face anything!
